Angam Hareh Pulakabhushanam Ashrayanti
Bhringangane Va Mukulabharanam Tamalam.
Angikritakhila Vibhutir Apangalila
Mangalyadastu Mama Mangala Devtayah.
💡 Verse 1: Like a female bee seeking a tamala tree adorned with buds, Lakshmi adorns the body of Lord Vishnu which is decorated with goosebumps of joy. May the side-glance of that auspicious goddess — who has accepted all divine powers — bestow blessings upon me.
2
मुग्धा मुहुर्विदधती वदने मुरारेः
प्रेमत्रपाप्रणिहितानि गतागतानि।
माला दृशोर्मधुकरीव महोत्पले या

Mugdha Muhur Vidadhati Vadane Murareh
Prematrapa Pranihitani Gatagataani.
Mala Drishor Madhukari Va Mahotpale Ya
Sa Me Shriyam Dishatu Sagara Sambhavayah.
💡 Verse 2: The enchanting Lakshmi repeatedly steals glances at Murari's face, her eyes going back and forth with love and shyness. May the garland-like glances of the ocean-born Goddess, like bees hovering around great lotuses, bestow wealth upon me.
Amilitaksham Adhigamya Muda Mukundam
Anandakandam Animesham Anangatantram.
Akekarasthita Kaninika Pakshmanetram
Bhutyai Bhaven Mama Bhujangashayanganaayah.
💡 Verse 3: With half-closed eyes, she joyfully gazes at Mukunda (Vishnu), the root of all bliss, with unblinking eyes under the spell of love. May the glance of the consort of the one who reclines on the serpent bring me prosperity.

बाह्वन्तरे मधुजितः श्रितकौस्तुभे या

Kamaprada Bhagavato Pi Katakshamala
Kalyanamavahatu Me Kamalaalayaayah.
💡 Verse 4: Between the arms of Madhujit (Vishnu), near the Kaustubha gem, she shines like a garland of sapphires. May the string of side-glances of the lotus-dwelling Goddess, which fulfills desires even of the Lord himself, bring me welfare.
5
Kalaambudalila Litsorasi Kaitabhareh
Dharadhare Sphirati Ya Tatidanganeva.
Matuh Samasta Jagatam Mahaniya Murtih
Bhadrani Me Dishatu Bhargavanandanayah.
💡 Verse 5: On the dark cloud-like chest of Kaitabhara's enemy (Vishnu), she flashes like lightning on a rain cloud. May the glorious form of the Mother of all worlds, the daughter of Bhrigu (Lakshmi), grant me auspiciousness.
💡 Verse 6: It was by the power of her glance that Manmatha (Cupid) first attained his position with the auspicious Madhusudana (Vishnu). May even half of that lazy, gentle glance of the daughter of the ocean fall upon me.
